Description: Two excellent condition Detroit Diesel 16V149NA engines available that have just been removed from a vessel in the US that is being repowered with Caterpillar engines. The vessel was just brought from Texas through the Panama Canal under its own power and the engines ran very well. They are only repowering the ship because they need more horsepower for an upcoming job. These engines have only 7200 and 7300 hours on them since last major overhaul performed by a Detroit Diesel dealer. They are rate at 930 hp at 1800rpm. Asking price showing is each and sold as a pair.
